GOOD TO KNOW
Recommendations for a Deeper Learning Experience
To enhance your learning experience, we suggest participating on both days and bringing your model along. This will allow us to dedicate time to building understanding and fostering connections.
The workshop-lecture will happen indoors, so its warm and inspiring space while creating.
The entire class will be documented with a professional photographer and later the photography’s will be shared with you and your model.
For participants trying body painting for the first time or those with basic knowledge, we recommend selecting a model whom you know, trust, and share a strong bond with. It’s important that both of you are committed to making this creative process a success. Please ensure your model is comfortable being your living canvas for three hours, including breaks.
The model should bring something not too luxurious to wear after the body-painting. The colour goes easily away in shower after the creative process.
If you’re having difficulty finding a model, we can assist you in locating one, though additional fees may apply, ranging from 800 to 1500 NOK.
There is a gallery pass fee of 50 NOK per day for your model. Additionally, please ensure they bring skin or white-colored underwear (such as panties and a bra, if desired). We will also have panties, latex, and bras available for purchase on-site.
We recommend that your model brings a snack or lunch box (fruit and water are ideal during the creative process). A café will also be open for any additional drinks and snacks.
The basic body painting colors and professional, skin-friendly brushes—valued at 600 to 900 NOK—will be provided during your class. If you have any brushes or body painting colors from recommended brands (Kryolan, Chameleon, Diamond FX), please bring them along.
After class, additional materials will be available for purchase, as well as Vilija Art prints.
