The live body-painting outdoor-indoor show, lasting between 30 to 100 minutes ( or longer if wished). It invites the audience into a area-space where the model-dancer harmoniously merges into a backdrop-background, artwork, logo etc depending on request.
Accompanied by sound, the artist engages in a live body-painting session for approximately 35 to 60 minutes, during which the dancer-model seamlessly blends into her background.

A captivating 22 minute performance featuring 9 to 10 dancers, presenting some of the oldest art-forms: body art & dance. Each performer is fully body-painted by using camouflage and special effects techniques.
The choreography & bodypainting for the performance “Where the Worlds Gather” draw inspiration from the concept of encounters between diverse worlds. This encompasses a multitude of cultures, traditions, nationalities, genders, philosophies, social backgrounds, and even the diversity of species, environments, and universes.
Visual and Movement Expression
The idea is artistically represented through a vibrant array of colors and patterns. Each dancer has the opportunity to showcase their individuality within the movement, ultimately coming together to create a unified dance dialogue and a stunning collective choreography.
A talented group of professional dancers interacts with large, colorful canvases hand-painted by Vilija Vitkute. They manipulate and engage with these elements, transforming them into fantastical shapes. As these objects come to life through motion, they contribute to a captivating visual performance.
The audience will experience a dance show where human forms are transformed by the artistry of body painting and costumes, evolving into magnificent creatures that gather for a joyful and harmonious performance, transcending the ordinary.

Preparation for this unique presentation typically requires time encompassing rehearsal and intricate paper cutting in artist studio. The setup for the event at the venue takes an additional time ( depends on request and necessitates the assistance of one individual to facilitate the process.

40 -60 min The performance is a fusion of live body painting by Vilija Vitkute and one or two dancers. It creates a unique experience where the two powerful forms of expression merge, and the audience gets the opportunity to witness them in a live act. The performance includes mesmerizing visual projections, created with the images taken during the artists’ journeys to Iceland, Gotland & The Azores. The breathtaking landscapes accompany the story that is being told on stage.
The dancer embodies the experience of traveling through different life phases and different natural landscapes. Taking inspiration from the demanding, extreme environment of Iceland, and the rich nature of the Azores, being driven by strong emotional states, she takes the viewers on a journey that reminds us of the power of human connection to nature.
The live body painting act gives a rare opportunity to observe how the interaction between painter and dancer shapes the performance, and how the painting emerges on the living canvas of the human body.
